For this property styling project, our skilled stylist, Nick Counsell, infused life into this newly constructed townhouse. Marketed by Tracy Russell at Tom Offermann, this meticulously designed residence embodies contemporary flair. Nick selected designer furniture and accents that mirror the property’s inherent quality. With its sought-after location, striking façade, and inviting in-ground pool, this property is a standout gem. As such, our styling aimed to match its allure, infusing visual interest and harmonising effortlessly with its architectural style.
Selecting designer furniture
The carefully chosen designer furniture played a vital role in enhancing the ambiance of this property, characterised by its contemporary and coastal charm. Nick Counsell meticulously curated the space, opting for the Mountain Drift Sofa in Copeland Hazel from Kolbi. This sofa was an ideal choice, not only for its chic chocolate brown hue, which aligns with contemporary trends, but also for its captivating appearance from all angles, serving as a statement piece upon entering the living room. In addition to the sofa, various other designer furniture pieces were selected, featuring plenty of wood and rattan to evoke the coastal ambiance, along with an abundance of cement and textured accessories to add layers of visual interest.
Staging key rooms
Key areas within this property include the expansive open-plan living area and the generously sized master bedroom. In the open-plan living space, ample room for furniture was available.et, it was essential to account for the flow of foot traffic from the kitchen, outdoor entertainment area, and elevator. Thus, Nick focused on achieving a harmonious balance of scale and ergonomics within the space. Similarly, in the master bedroom, which also boasted considerable dimensions, Nick aimed to maximise space utilisation while complementing its grandeur. To achieve this, Nick incorporated substantial wide bedside tables, a dresser, and a seating corner, strategically filling the space. These deliberate design choices ensured that the room felt adequately furnished without appearing cluttered, effectively enhancing the lifestyle portrayed and complementing the room’s expansive dimensions.
