When the Result Matters More than the Price

Better presentation changes how a property performs. That’s what this project came down to.

We were brought into this project early in the week for a brand-new duplex in Warana, with installation completed within three days. But the timeline isn’t the story here.

The owner had multiple styling quotes on the table. Some significantly lower than ours. After seeing our work not too far away, the decision became clear.

Not based on the cheapest quote. Based on the result they knew was possible.

This is a high-end coastal duplex. The architecture is strong. The finishes are considered. The layout already works.

But even in homes like this, presentation still influences how the property is received. Without it, buyers can hesitate. They take longer to process the space. They question what they’re seeing instead of moving forward.

Furniture isn’t there to add style. It’s there to support how the home is experienced. To make each space feel intentional and give buyers confidence in what they’re walking through.

At Palkana, the focus was on reinforcing what was already there. The open-plan living needed to feel balanced. The palette needed to align with the existing materials. Each space needed to feel considered without being overworked.

When it’s set up properly, buyers move through the space with confidence.

The decision wasn’t about timing. It came down to confidence in the result. The owner had seen a comparable project and understood how the right presentation influences how a property performs.

In this part of the market, that shows up in how buyers engage, how quickly they move, and the level of confidence behind their decisions.

This was also our first time working with Phil Wood. A clear brief, a quick turnaround, and a finished result that aligned with the level of the property.

Cost will always be a factor when choosing a styling partner. But when the goal is a strong result, presentation becomes part of the strategy. Working with a team who can deliver it properly, and on time, just makes sense.
