In June 2025, Blink Living had the honour of styling a truly special project—the newly completed ‘Lagune’ complex at Moffat Beach, designed by award-winning architect and developer Joe Adsett.
Moffat Beach is best known for its world-class surf and relaxed coastal charm. However, modern developments in the area are rare. With uninterrupted north-facing views and five levels of full-floor sky homes, Lagune offered a unique opportunity. Only one apartment remained unsold: the ground floor with a private pool. We were proud to style this signature space for market.
Styling That Sells in the Multi-Million Market
At Blink Living, we customise every project to suit the home and its potential buyer. Lagune was styled with a multi-million dollar market in mind — buyers who value high-end finishes and premium architecture. Hence Senior Property Stylist Logan Jones critical decision making to attract those potential buyers.
She selected “comfortable, luxurious upholstered pieces—especially dining and accent chairs—to help create a feeling of elegance that buyers would appreciate.” Working with the natural curves and warm finishes of the interior, she explained: “The styling was kept simple, with a few stand-out sculptural pieces to keep things sophisticated and gallery-like, highlighting the property’s premium quality.”
How Lagune’s Architecture Inspired the Styling
Great styling draws attention to a home’s strengths. In Lagune, the architecture spoke volumes—curved corners, stonework, and custom cabinetry set the tone. Logan leaned into these features.
She “echoed the curved shapes in the armchairs to carry that soft, organic look throughout.” At the same time, she kept the colour palette intentionally neutral. “That way,” she said, “the furniture added to the space without taking attention away from its standout features, helping everything feel calm and cohesive.”

Ground-Level Strategy: Styling with Purpose
Every home presents spatial challenges. While upper levels offer wide views, this ground-floor apartment required a more nuanced approach, especially given its street-level exposure.
Logan explained: “For both the indoor and outdoor living areas, I chose low-profile furniture that wouldn’t block the view—important for both photography and in-person viewings.” The front patio, visible from the street, had to look well-composed from every angle. This layout demanded a design that was both elegant and approachable.
In addition, Lagune’s ground-floor apartment included a rare private pool—an exclusive feature in this complex. Logan responded by selecting “a large, comfortable armchair, ideal for lounging and adding a relaxed, resort-style touch to the outdoor area.”

A Tailored Approach to a Signature Property
With years of experience across the Sunshine Coast, Logan noted how styling ‘Lagune’ required a fresh perspective. “This project embodies a refined and peaceful coastal retreat,” she shared. “Unlike some of my previous work that featured bolder elements, this design focused on subtle luxury and a seamless relationship with its coastal environment.”
For those inspired by Lagune’s style, Logan offered tips to recreate the look:
- Use natural materials like timber and stone for warmth and texture.
- Choose soft, curved furniture shapes for a calming effect.
- Stick to a neutral palette, letting form and finish take the lead.
- Incorporate sculptural accents for interest—think quality over quantity.
