Elevating a $5M Penthouse

Styling a residence of this calibre requires more than beautiful furniture—it demands a balance of aesthetics, lifestyle insight, and thoughtful spatial design. At Blink Living, we don’t follow a fixed look. Each project is approached with fresh eyes, guided by the unique qualities of the home and the aspirations of its future buyer.

Penthouse 2601 was no exception. Led by our Property Styling Manager, Nick Counsell, we curated a selection of statement pieces to match the home’s grand proportions and refined palette. From a 3-metre dining table to an oversized Kolbi sofa and richly layered textiles, every detail was chosen to evoke a sense of rarity—yet still feel like home.

“Every detail was carefully considered to evoke a sense of exclusivity, from the furnishings to the artwork and finishes,” says Nick. “We wanted to create something aspirational, almost dream-like, that feels just out of reach.”

Styling With Vision and Versatility

Penthouse 2601 was the fourth apartment we’ve styled at The Cove Pelican Waters—each with its own unique brief and aesthetic.

In the neighbouring Corsica complex, we styled two very different residences:

• One apartment mirrored the developer’s renderings, incorporating bold blue tones and luxe finishes.
• Just down the hall, we created a lighter, neutral coastal look—delivering contrast and versatility on the same floor.

In the Comino building, prior to styling the penthouse, we brought to life a larger-scale residence featuring a clean white base with expressive pops of colour. Each of these spaces was brought together by Nick’s creative direction and deep understanding of buyer appeal.

His approach to the penthouse took things up another level.

Creating a Home at the Comino Penthouse, Not Just a Showcase

While the design was aspirational, it was equally important that the space felt liveable. Through warm tones, inviting textures, and the strategic use of artwork and lighting, Nick ensured the penthouse exuded comfort as much as luxury.

We asked Nick what advice he would give to anyone furnishing a brand-new apartment—whether at The Cove or elsewhere.
