Styling the dream property
Our talented property stylist, Nick Counsell, transformed this modern Sunshine Beach home. Unlike the typical coastal aesthetic, the interior design of this home features dark industrial elements, influencing our furniture and styling choices. We aimed to complement the home’s unique character while showcasing how potential buyers could utilise the property’s space effectively.
Selecting designer furniture
Given the floorplan and the visibility of the outdoor dining area from the inside, with its beautiful feature by the statement pool, Nick chose an elegant outdoor dining setting from GlobeWest. Additionally, he selected a grey GlobeWest sofa, utilising the corner piece as an occasional piece to better suit the space’s orientation and add a modern touch.
Staging key rooms
Key areas of focus for this property were the main living room and the master bedroom. The living room featured a mix of brick walls and polished concrete flooring, giving it an industrial feel. To soften the space, it was important to use comfortable fabrics in the furniture and soft furnishings. The master bedroom also required careful styling due to its open layout, with the wardrobe and bathroom visible simultaneously. The styling needed to be not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical, showcasing elements like towels on display, a filled wardrobe, and a neatly made bed.
