Styling the dream property
This property was expertly styled by our property stylist, Nick Counsell, and listed with Amber Werchon. It is a custom-built new duplex located just 400 meters from the surf, aiming for next-level property luxury and quality. It was crucial for our property styling to reflect the high standard of the build and complement the property’s prime location on the Sunshine Coast. Our goal was to sell the dream of a high-end, three-bedroom, two-bathroom coastal home.
Selecting designer furniture
For this project, Nick selected the crisp white Cotton Star armchairs from Kolbi as the centrepiece of the downstairs living room. To enhance the space and emphasise the coastal theme, he incorporated high-quality prints, minimalist cushions, and décor, along with linens and oak elements. To elevate the space to a more high-end, designer level, Nick chose beautifully textured rugs and voluminous bedding, maintaining a minimalist approach to create a luxurious feel.
Staging key rooms
The key rooms for this Sunshine Coast property were undoubtedly on the first floor, where the family would congregate, including the kitchen, dining, living, and outdoor areas. Through styling, it was essential to clearly define the zones and their scale, enabling potential buyers to visualise how their furniture would fit. It was crucial to ensure the furniture’s proportions matched the property’s scale while accommodating multiple zones on a single level.
